Please welcome Thomasboro Grade School's new Principal, Katelyn White.
Dear TGS Families,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new Principal of Thomasboro Grade School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead in a school with such a rich tradition of education! I am dedicated to the field of education and look forward to working with each and every one of you.
I am joining you from Judith Giacoma Elementary School in Westville School District where I last served as Dean of Students and was formerly a 6th grade teacher. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to Thomasboro Grade School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
I received my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees from Eastern Illinois University, and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Administration (Ed.D.) from Illinois State University.
Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by TGS by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners.
I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Thomasboro meet their goals and have a successful school year!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Katelyn White
